Therapeutic horticulture supports wellbeing, cognitive engagement, improved mood and meaningful social interactions.

Sessions may focus on:

  • Gentle planting and tending activities

  • Mindful breathing in outdoor spaces

  • Seasonally focused creative projects

  • Sensory stimulation, memory support, motor skills

These sessions promote purpose, connection, and calm. Individual sessions can be offered in your home or an agreed upon place in the community, weather permitting. If you have extended health benefits, sessions may be covered by your insurance provider.

Workshops can be offered in community settings as well as retirement and long term care residences.
